Literacy and Identity

These guys are putting on a pretty good presentation. They're giving some info on marijuana now, and they have some hilarious comments now and then. The do/don't exercise kinda sucked though (from the 'student' perspective). The questions brought up some good points and went over good information. I like this presentation.

Stuff I wanna bring in my knapsack (and answers to other questions from the presentation)

If I had to pack a backpack full of recreational/extra stuff for the rest of my life..Well, let's see.. I'd bring a computer, phone, car magazines, educational books, regular books (recreation), weapons, money, and plenty of beer.

Book banning is a little bit outrageous. People don't have to read things if they don't want to. There should be rules about which books can be used in high schools, but in general, books should not be banned. If someone goes out, reads the summary on the back cover, buys, and reads a book, it's their own fault if they are offended.
