Hilarious game

I already typed a detailed explanation of this game and the damn internet screwed up and it didn't work, so I'm not going to word is as well as the last one. At any rate, the link below is a site where you can download a hilarious game where you push a geometric figure of a body down a set of stairs and try to get as much damage as possible. You can change the angle and force and section of the body that you're pushing from and it has some hilarious sound effects as well. It's a free download so I would encourage anyone to give it a shot! Here it is Stair Dismount

Enjoy!
What the!?

So I suppose I could explain the title of this whole deal here. the reason I used Godfather's Pizza as part of the address to get here is because I worked there for two years and had to quit when I moved here to college. For about the last six months of my job, a man named Scott Harvey worked there and I have to say he is probably one of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. He comes in every day and works harder than anyone, and all he ever does is wash dishes and bus tables. That man loves his job. For this reason I chose to include his name in the title of my blog. I doubt he plans on quitting anytime soon, this was just the first thing that came to my mind that I could include his name with. That's about all the info I am ready to give you about the naming of my blog. Thanks for your time. Have a good day.

Whoa

I just realized that I have done hells of blogging today. All within the last 46 minutes. Sorry, guys. I'll stop now. I'm sorry. Got a bit carried away there.. I'm.. sorry. Ahhh, I hate myself :)
Great car club from Canada
I was looking through some forums the other day and i noticed a post from a guy who seemed pretty cool. I went to his site Zucru Racing Car Club and was very pleased with the cars in his club. As a VW enthusiast, I am SICK of seeing honda honda honda HONDA HONDA HONDA everywhere. There will never be peace between Honda drivers and VW drivers. As a European supporter, I feel that there just is nothing better than a good European- or Italian-made car. There are a few Volkswagens in Zucru and one of the drivers comes to Fargo once in a while so it would be pretty cool to talk to some other Volkswagen lovers. They are few and far between around here, but everywhere I go my fellow dubbers wave to me and I wave back. A driver of a fine German-manufactured automobile is surely a different breed of drive than the average Joe. Another link for all of you Volkswagen lovers, which I am hooked to ALL THE TIME is VWvortex.com. This site has awesome forums and people on there are always glad to talk about anything having to do with VW's. It also has fantastic coverage of events such as car shows and new vehicles coming out. For those readers who don't like Volkswagens, and don't even like cars in general, there are also many forums regarding personal hobbies such as photography, food and beverage, hunting/outdoors, travelling, and many more. There is a forum for everyone here, and they are all very active because of the high volume of users on the site. It has become one of my favorite places to go on a rainy day and I suggest that everyone checks it out!
Recollection of presentations in front of the class
Although I remained calm for most of the time, the presentation of our essay in front of the class made me stutter and tense up, just as being in front of a group of people ALWAYS does. Now that I consider it, I have no idea why I get nervous. I didn't feel threatened at all. I wasn't afraid that someone would make fun of me. Maybe I was just uncomfortable and the added attention made it worse. As far as the actual project, I think it was a pretty good idea. After we all got used to it, there was some good feedback from the audience and I think my classmates did an excellent job presenting each of the different essays. None of it was just reading off of a piece of paper, there was always something to go along with it to keep our attention on the presenters. Is it presentErs or presentOrs? I think E looks better. From the student's perspective of this assignment, I didn't mind it. This helped me to get to know a couple people and interact with my fellow classmates, which was cool. I always dread doing presentations in front of a classroom full of people I don't know because I'm a fairly quiet individual. That's about all I have to say about that.
Jo Ann Oravec - Journal of Adolescent Adult Literacy (Essay #4)
I got the privilege of reading this ENTIRE essay. For a group of only three of us, it was a long one. Ms. Oravec provided several key points; we picked out what we felt were the most important ones. The author discussed about how weblogs can be used as an online diary (contradictory to the previous author). Also, they're useful in that they provide filters of other websites and describe them so that the readers know what to expect, and that they can expect a quality link when they click on it. Blogging is helping students to learn new skills and better express themselves as well. Finally, for journalism and business classes, students can find blogs useful in that it's easier to communicate to a larger audience, and they can read the works of professional journalists through other weblogs. All in all, Ms. Oravec seems to believe that weblogs are a very useful tool.
Essay #3 (forgot to write down author/title)

This author writes about how weblogs can be useful, but are not always composed in the best fashion. Instead of anyone and everyone writing about their days as a normal citizen in the respective home country, this author feels that weblogs should be used by professionals and celebrities. Wouldn't it be interesting to hear about an average day in the lifes of Wayne Gretzky or a professional in the field you're studying? The author of this article believes that people should stop using the weblog as a public journal of their activities (he considers it to be garbage) and leave blogging open to people that everyone wants to hear from.
Chris Alden - It's as Easy as Falling Off a Weblog. (Essay #2)
Mr. Alden seems to believe that weblogs aren't used enough. Since many adults are not computer literate, he feels that weblogs are the best tool to use to orientate someone on the web. He sees weblogs as a way to filter out the good informational and recreational sites while keeping away from the commercial aspects of the web. Once we find a way to broadcast these weblogs to larger audiences and make them more commonly viewed, weblogs will probably be used in more places.
Rebecca Blood (Essay #1)
Rebecca Blood feels that weblogs are a very beneficial tool now that they have evolved more. She thinks it's more creative as a way to show one's feelings, ideas, and opinions about things. She was not interested in using weblogs for a while, but she eventually became interested and now has a positive outlook on the future of weblogs.

End of weekend.

well, it's Sunday evening now. As usual the weekend flew by and I got NO homework done (so far). My parents came to visit from Minot, it was nice seeing them again. I ate with them a couple times and went shopping and did some other stuff with them yesterday. They took off a little while ago today. I have a quiz in Psychology tomorrow, hopefully I don't screw that up. I also have a full day of classes and my first formal dinner and meeting with the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. That should be a lot of fun. So far my college experience has been pretty relaxed. My toughest class is ME 189. They give a ton of assignments and it seems to be requiring more work than any of my other classes. Math has been really easy. I'm in Math 166 (Calc 2) but it has all been review so far. Easy review. Psychology has been all lecture so far, and I already got some extra credit in there. I have gone to Chemistry twice because the notes are very elementary, so I don't feel that I need to go. I have a test on Wednesday in Chemistry. That should be interesting. hopefully it's as easy as it seems to be so far. I'm not too concerned. Lately I have been driving through the lot at Valley Import quite a bit. There are a number of cars there I would love to drive. I want to test drive a 2003 VW Jetta 1.8T someday, but I doubt they would let an 18 year old on a college budget take it for a spin. There are a lot of Audi's I wouldn't mind driving as well. Oh well, someday I will own every German-made car available on the market. Probably not, but it's comforting to know that there's a possibility of it. There isn't a lot more to type about my weekend. I'm not looking forward to finishing the rest of my homework tonight. I'm not looking forward to the Psychology quiz either. oh well, I'll live. That's all I have for my audience tonight. Thanks for reading. -Trent
